The story centers around Choi Yi-jae, a man pushed to the brink after a series of unfortunate events. Feeling utterly hopeless, he attempts to take his own life. However, instead of finding oblivion, he encounters Death herself. Amused by his flippant attitude towards dying, Death throws him into a unique game: experience 13 different deaths through the lives of others. If he can survive each one before the inevitable end, he gets to live out the remaining life he recklessly threw away. But as he navigates these varied existences, he faces not only physical peril but also the emotional weight of each character’s story.
